Dr. Biljana Marić  is Dr. Sci. (Philology), Professor in the Department of Slavic Studies at the University of Belgrade (Serbia), Chairperson of the Society of Slavists of Serbia. 

Research interests: Comparative studies of the Russian and Serbian languages, Syntax of the Russian language in comparison with Serbian, Linguistic worldview, Methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
