We invite proposals for special issues on any topic related to professional discourse and communication, such as business, legal, diplomatic, economic, political, academic, medical, art and any other professional sphere. The special issues should aim to showcase original and innovative research that contributes to the advancement of the field and addresses current issues and challenges in professional communication.

A proposal for a special issue should include:

Proposals for special issues should be sent directly to the Editor-in-Chief, Professor Dmitry S. Khramchenko at pdc@inno.mgimo.ru who will then evaluate the proposal with the help of the Editorial board based on the relevance, originality, significance, and feasibility of the proposed topic.

The guest editors will be notified of the decision within 2 weeks of the submission of the proposal.

The guest editors will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Preparing and disseminating a Call for Papers for the special issue
  • Managing the submission and peer-review process using the journal’s online system
  • Ensuring the quality and coherence of the accepted papers

The special issue papers will follow the same format and guidelines as the regular papers of PDC. The papers will be subject to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers. The final acceptance of the papers will depend on the quality and relevance of the papers.

The special issue papers will be published online as soon as they are accepted at the end of the publication cycle. The special issue papers will be free of charge for both authors and readers, as PDC is a platinum open-access journal.
